With over 25-years’ combined experience in lending, Craft Capital was formed in 2023 by Ben Ressel and Eric Williams in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Prior to forming Craft Capital, Ben and Eric worked together at Sixty West Finance, where they financed over 1 billion dollars in transactions in several asset classes including retail, renewable energy, historic preservation, and all related tax credit transactions. Craft Capital works with multiple lenders and capital groups to fund transactions, solve problems, and manage companies’ debt portfolios.
Ben Ressel graduated from Columbia College in Columbia, Missouri in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Upon graduation he immediately went into the commercial banking world with both corporate and private lending institutions. In 2012 Ben graduated from Louisiana State University Graduate School of Banking. Eric Williams Graduated from Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri with a bachelor’s degree in finance, as well as a master’s degree in healthcare administration. Eric left the healthcare industry in 2018 and then began his career in private equity.
